Mendoza continues to strengthen its position on the international stage, now expanding its role across both bottled and bulk wine categories.

Discover Chapter VII

The 2026 edition of Vinexpo Explorer in Mendoza highlights bulk wine as a key category within the global wine trade, reflecting its growing role for both producers and buyers. In 2025, the bulk wine market reached 31.7 million hectolitres, representing a total value of €2.5 billion, with an average price of €0.78 per litre. Bulk wine now accounts for 33.7% of global wine trade volumes, but only 7.3% of total value, highlighting its distinct positioning within the industry. In this context, Mendoza offers a unique environment to explore bulk wine at source.
With 70% of Argentina’s vineyard area and a strong export orientation, the region provides: • scale and production capacity • diversity of grape varieties • increasing alignment with international market expectations Vinexpo Explorer creates direct connections between producers and buyers, allowing participants to assess quality, discuss volumes, and explore long-term partnerships on site.
